Hello and welcome to another week of Fun Craft Friday! This week, our craft is the very colorful Rainbow cloud craft. The nice thing about this craft is that a lot of the projects we have done before, you can use with this one. This craft is perfect for preschoolers and for a bit older too. So keep on reading and follow along with me to see how it is done.
Supplies:
- White Printer Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Tape
- Popsicle Sticks (plain or colored ones will work)
- Googly eyes (you could draw on the eyes if you wanted too)
- Glitter (optional)
- Marker
Simply draw the outline of the cloud on a piece of paper.
Cut out the piece of paper into the shape that you drew. Be careful when using a marker to draw out your design, it can sometimes make cutting harder. Sometimes you have to go back and cut the marker off on hard to cut places.
Next, it is time to glue on those goofy googly eyes! You can also draw eyes on if you don't have any.
Look at that face! Some people its a face only a mother could love! Get creative and make as many different faces as you can think of!
Now this is where it can get a little tricky. I had colored popsicle sticks, but you can totally paint on some and make them any color you want! Grab 6 of them and line them together. Then, put a piece of tape on the back so that it will hold. I ended putting about 4 pieces on the back to make sure that it would stay together.
Lastly grab the cloud part and glue it to the top of the popsicles. You could use tape as well or a combination of both to make sure it wont go anywhere.
There you go! Super easy and fun to make. You can even add glitter on the rim of the cloud to really make it pop and sparkle. Or even put a little glitter on the actual rainbow it's self. That would be so cute!
