Happy Friday Everyone!
Today's Fun Craft Fridays is one of favorite little products that we know you will have fun with! Painted rocks is perfect for anyone and all ages. Today, we are using one of DIY kits.
Kit Includes:
- 10 rocks
- 1 package of googly eyes
- 1 glue
- 12 paint colors
- glitter glue (1 gold, 1 silver)
- 2 transfer sticker pages
- 1 sticker gems
- 1 sponge
- 2 paint brushes
- 1 instruction book
- 1 paint palette
Supplies You May Always Need:
- Paper towels
- Cup of Water
Now that you have all the supplies you need to start, you just need the imagination! The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to painting on a blank canvas. I really enjoyed this one because I could look for some inspiration on Pinterest and add my own spin on things. Sometimes it's nice to look at other people's ideas so that sparks that idea and creativity.
Once you have your idea, all you need to do is pick up that paint brush and get to painting! Go ahead and use the the paint pallet to help mix and blend colors.
Something you have to remember is that you may have to do a couple of layers, especially if you're using a light color like white. So when I did this flower, I made sure to do a few layers to show the petals. I did the same thing on the clouds on the rainbow. Adding a background color can help as well to bring that color out!
With this kit, I wanted to use the awesome glitter and googly eyes! I mean let's be honest, who doesn't like a good pair of googly eyes? I made a lady bug with the cute gems, glitter and eyes! Look how this came out, super CUTE!
With this craft, you really just take your own lead and paint what ever you feel inspirited to do so! Painting for me has always been a very calming hobby and you really can get lost in the craft! Kids would absolutely love this as well. These are the ones that I made down below. I would love to see what you made!
